Auspices

Dear riders, dear organizers, dear spectators, I am pleased that this year I was able to take over the patronage of the international women's cycling race Tour de Feminin, which my colleague and friend Senator Zbyněk Linhart brought me to. This year's 37th edition will traditionally take place in the picturesque surroundings of Bohemian Switzerland and the Lusatian Mountains. The race route leads, for example, through Krásná Lípa, Rumburk and Varnsdorf, and the riders will face four challenging stages with a total length of more than 340 kilometers. The Tour de Feminin is already a traditional celebration of women's cycling, which attracts world-class riders to Northern Bohemia every year. Thanks to careful organization, the race is enjoying increasing attention among spectators. This year, in addition, the organizers are preparing a novelty: a children's cycling race, which will also offer space for the youngest fans of this sport. I believe that such activities are the best natural support for daily exercise and a healthy lifestyle. I would like to thank everyone involved in the preparation and implementation of this race, and I wish the riders and all spectators a safe race, exciting sports competitions, and many wonderful experiences.
Miloš Vystrčil - President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Dear female competitors, dear cycling friends. The Tour de Feminin race is a beautiful tradition that is already inextricably linked to the amazing landscape of Czech Switzerland. Every year we admire the strength, courage and endurance of female competitors from all over the world and their incredible sporting achievements. I am proud that the Ústí nad Labem Region can be the backdrop for this exceptional race. I wish everyone a joyous ride and unforgettable moments in our region!
Richard Brabec - Governor of the Ústí Region

I am very happy that this year I can greet all lovers of sports and women´s cycling in particular. I am proud of everyone who is working together to ensure that such a prestigious race takes place in our region. I wish the riders good health, plenty of strength and a beautifully prepared track again. The organizers have strong nerves, motivated athletes, satisfied spectators and good weather. And let us, the viewers, have a great time. See you at the Tour de Feminin.
Jindra Zalabáková - Deputy Governor of the Ústí Region

Dear sports fans, every year, Tour de Feminin proves that top international sports don't have to originate in big cities. Czechia-Saxon Switzerland and Šluknovsko are regions with a complicated history and present, and yet – or perhaps because of this – a race is taking place here that is respected and renowned far beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. This is primarily thanks to the organizers, partners, and volunteers, who have long proven that professionalism, perseverance, and responsibility can overcome limited conditions. Thanks to their work, for a few days the region becomes a place where world-class women's cycling, sporting excellence, and international attention come together. Great admiration goes to all the competitors who give their all here and contribute to the good name of the race and the place where it is held. I wish this year's edition a safe course, fair sporting competition, and experiences that will stand the test of time even beyond the finish line.
Zbyněk Linhart - Senator of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Browsing the start lists of the top women's cycling race Tour de Feminin is like leafing through a world atlas. European teams alternate with overseas ones, and the list includes competitors from attractive, for many of us even exotic destinations. Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the USA - even there, the sports public learns that the Czech Republic, Bohemian Switzerland and Krásná Lípa lie in the center of Europe. Tour de Feminin is an extraordinary sporting experience and at the same time a promotion of our region. This year's, already 37th, year also enjoys great interest from teams. I wish the competitors and organizers a smooth race and all of us great sporting experiences.
Jan Kolář - Mayor of the town Krásná Lípa

Sport is an integral part of my life. And cycling is no exception. I've never been someone who cycles regularly—for me, it's more a means of getting from point A to point B faster—but it has been my faithful companion on most of my vacations in the Czech Republic. It was beautiful everywhere. As a patriot of this region, but above all based on the experiences of visitors, competitors, and their teams, I have to say that it is beautiful here. Come and see for yourself – whether as part of the Tour de Feminin race or at any other time. With your bike, of course, but even without it. The town of Rumburk will be happy to welcome you.
Martin Hýbl - Mayor of the town Rumburk

Since time immemorial, we humans have had a desire to surpass ourselves, push boundaries, and measure our strength—and this is one of the driving forces behind progress. Thanks to this natural competitiveness, we discover new paths, new ideas, and new possibilities that move us forward as a society. And one of the most beautiful expressions of this human energy is sport. I am therefore very pleased that this year we can once again welcome the Tour de Feminin cycling race to the north – a sporting celebration that combines determination, elegance, diligence, and fairness. Women's cycling has its own unique charm, and I am proud that our landscape can be the backdrop for such a beautiful sport. A big thank you goes to the organizers, the technical team, and the volunteers. Without their dedication, patience, and enthusiasm, such a demanding event could not take place. They deserve our great respect. I wish all the competitors lots of strength, a favorable tailwind, and above all, a safe journey to the finish line. And I wish us fans a great time enjoying the race—let's cheer, support, and create an atmosphere that will be remembered for a long time to come.
Jan Šimek - Mayor of the town Varnsdorf

I think the 37th edition is going to be very special, not only because we have the highest number of teams ever from Australia to USA, but also because we have linked tour event with the Breast Cancer Alliance. The story of Šárka Víchová is known to everyone in the cycling community, not only in Výběžek. That´s why we ride the Tour de Feminin as her memorial. I sincerely hope that the participants of our race will reach the finish line healthy and hopefully satisfied with their results.
Simona Davídková - Race Director
