The traditional international women's stage race Tour de Feminin, featured on the UCI calendar, has announced the route for its upcoming 2026 edition.

From May 14 to 17, the world's elite women’s cycling peloton will once again take to the demanding roads of the Šluknov Hook and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The program features four days of top-tier cycling set against the unique backdrop of Northern Bohemia.

Stage 2: Through the Bohemian Switzerland National Park (May 15, 2026)

Start and Finish: Krásná Lípa (Main Square)
Distance: 121,5 km

The first major test in the hills. The route takes the peloton into the heart of the national park and includes demanding climbs in Rynartice, Janov, and up Vlčí Hora. This stage is known for its technical descents and constant changes in rhythm.

"The second stage is the same as last year; we are visiting the Bohemian Switzerland National Park once again," says Simona Davídková. "We will complete two laps through Hřensko. Last year, a tree fell onto the road after the first lap, but the local firefighters were so proactive and efficient that by the time the riders completed the rest of the circuit, they had taken care of everything. We were able to finish the stage as planned, for which they deserve a huge thank you."

"In my opinion, this is the toughest stage of the race. For instance, the Rynartice climb is a total wall; if the girls don't shift gears in time, they'll fall right off their bikes," Simona Davídková says with a smile. "Rynartice is a shorter hill, but there’s also the longer climb to Janov (2.8 km, 7.3%), which is the site of the Janovský trhák uphill time trial. It’s a very beautiful hill."

"The section leading from Česká Kamenice is also demanding, as it’s constantly up and down. Naturally, the ascent to Vlčí Hora is also a key moment," the race director adds.

Stage 3: Through the Šluknov Hills (May 16, 2026)

Start and Finish: Rumburk (Lužické square)
Distance: 123,4 km

The third stage, leading through the Šluknov Hook—the northernmost region of the Czech Republic—was where Kate Richardson secured her overall victory last year. In the rugged terrain, the British cyclist managed to break away with two other riders and maintain a lead of nearly a minute over the peloton. This year, the third stage is the longest of the entire race. The riders will face Queen of the Mountains (QOM) climbs in Jiříkov, Brtníky, and Nové Křečany.

"The third stage underwent several forced adjustments because of bridge repairs in Vilémov and Dolní Křečany," Simona Davídková explains regarding the route changes. "The stage map looks a bit crazy, but the character of a stage in the Šluknov Hook has been preserved, and the route is actually a little bit longer."

Stage 4: Through the Lusatian Mountains (May 17, 2026)

Start: Varnsdorf / Finish: Krásná Lípa
Distance: 88 km

The final stage may be the shortest, but it is highly intense. The peloton will head out from Varnsdorf, crossing the hills of the Lusatian Mountains back to Krásná Lípa. The riders will tackle the Vápenka climb three times (twice as a classified mountain sprint) and Křížový Buk twice. The summit of the final Vápenka climb is only 2.6 kilometers from the finish line, ensuring plenty of opportunities for last-minute attacks.

"Due to road construction, we had to shorten the race circuit; we had to omit the first two climbs and mountain sprints compared to last year's route," adds Simona Davídková. "Instead, we will head straight to Doubice and the Vápenka climb. Afterward, we return to Varnsdorf and subsequently complete two laps through Chřibská."

More Than Just a Race

The Tour de Feminin has a long-standing partnership with the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer, carrying a powerful message about the importance of prevention. This year’s edition will once again be complemented by a rich accompanying program, including activities for the public and live concerts—for instance, the band Těla will perform on Friday in Krásná Lípa.
